Profile on SUSAN GREEN M.S.E.ASusan Green has been sculpting since 1980, having spent most of her life as a dancer. Her love of horses gave her the inspiration to carve them in marble. Each year, for two months she goes to Pietrasanta in Tuscany, where she works with sculptors from all over the world. Before coming to live in Spain, she has undertaken commissions in England. These include a bronze ‘Mother and Child’ for the maternity wing of the Whittington Hospital, Highgate, London, a wood carving for the Suzuki Institute of Music, and a bronze eagle for the Prudential Assurance Company. She has many sculptures in private houses in England and all over the world. Susan Green works mainly in bronze, wood and marble, and is a full member of the Society of Equestrian Art (MSEA). Susan is looking forward to working in Spain with the Spanish marble that may found here. EXHIBITIONS
